The Horny Toads

Late night Tulsa variety show "Club TV" recently contacted the band about doing a live music segment for the program. Local videography company "URAVideostar" films these spots for them and came by to see the band for the first time at a recent show. This is the review posted by it's operator Noel Richardson on their website .

THE HORNY TOADS - I have only seen this band one time, one set. One time is all it took. These guys ROCK. They are a perfect band for a video. The interaction by Jesse, Keith, and Chuck on stage is very entertaining. Audience interaction is excellent. The audio mix is excellent. (Their sound guy knows what he is doing).

Two of their cover songs, Taking Care of Business and Purple Haze were a visual delight. I just wish we had the cameras with us that night.

Every one of the band members appeared to be having a great time. That translated into the audience having a great time. Even Bob, on drums, was rocking his can off on every song. If the guy on the back of the stage is having a good time, then everybody is having a good time.

Some of the best looking female dancers were the wives and girlfriends of the band, but who cares! They are a delight to watch. It just goes to show you that the good rock bands get the pretty girls.

If you want a band that just plays "background" music, GET SOMEBODY ELSE. If you want a band that interacts with the audience, is the center of attention, puts on a really good show, go with the Horny Toads.

I mean no disrespect to any other band, remember, I'm an old ROCKER, this band rocks!
